Le Marais restaurant

Fantastic location and the food is really great, fresh products, owner changed in January 24 so don't take the reviews in consideration before that date, new interior and good chef and service is splendid, we'll go back that's for sure!

Visited in August. Had an excellent meal, served by friendly staff. The owner is a real character. Lovely setting by the lake. We will be returning.

On a grey May lunchtime we enjoyed a very warm, friendly welcome here. The service was impeccable, friendly and efficient. Decor was homely and warm with beautiful views of the lake and surrounds. We chose the menu du jour (18) which was faultless, a delicate and delicious Spring salad - not your ordinary salad but one with innovative ingredients and very light. The main, home made ravioli with fish and a delicate lemon sauce - absolutely divine. Dessert was a sublime creamy rice pudding with caramel. Le Marais is definitely worth a visit, I absolutely could not fault it, from the little touches of inventive menus, to unique touches in the toilets- they have thought about this and for me it works. Definitely coming back here.

I have always enjoyed eating here. The staff are friendly and the food is very good.
